TECH SPECS
01
SPELDI
SPELDI - Particle - loaded membrane for solid-phase-extraction and method for performing SALDI-MS analysis
02
LASER DESORPTION
Laser desorption with fast lasers (1-2 seconds sample). Extends the field applicability of the “Laser desorption” technique
03
OUR PATENT
Our patent process combines solid phase extraction (SPE) and laser desorption ionization mass spectometry (LDI-MS) which will allow greater coverage of variety applications
04
ENVIRONMENTAL
Environmental monitoring (19 billion USD) but also can be used for biomedical screening and food safety testing
05
3D PRINTING
Employ 3D printing of biodegradable polylactide support for graphitized carbon membranes. This technique is more efficent than multi-step approaches.
HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1
Getting the samples
to be analyzed

THE SPELDI
Particle-loaded membrane for
solid-phase-extraction and
mass spectrometry.
The sample inside our
innovative SPELDI goes
to the mass spectrometer

STEP 2
Analysis by LDI (laser desorption ionization) mass spectrometry

STEP 3
Molecular profiling
results in seconds.
Approximately 24 hours for 30 samples can be reduced to 2 steps in 24 hours for ca.1,000 samples
